I would like to know if you planned the developpment of the story right from the beginning of the writing of the book or if the story developped himself during the process of writing the book. Secondly I would like to know how you have come to the idea to write a book about this topic. Please try to answer my questions.

Dear diary


Today was a terrible day. AJ s ex-girlfriend Erika knock me down. She hits me in the eyes
and she shouted at me, that A.J. and me can not be together and suddenly A.J. arrived
and rescued me. She hates me really and I do not know what to do , I can not handle
her reactions, I do not want to imagine what would have happened if A.J. had not rescued me.
I am very scared about Erika. Now I have to cool my eyes.

Chapter 39-up to the end

In chapter 39 Erika is visiting Franco, she is taking drugs and she is sleeping with Franco, because she wants to forget A.J. In chapter 40 is the graduation day and in chapter 41 we appear, that Erika has a job now and that Kelli , on of her friends is pregnant but she does not know who is the father of her child. In chapter 42 the reader appears, that Ruthie goes to the Stanford University and A.J. is going to the Florida State Universtiy and because of this A.J. and Ruthie must say goodbye to each other and they do not know really what happens to their relationship when they are so far away from each other. In chapter 43 Erika has changed and she is pround of herself because she can stand on her own and in chapter 44 A.J. is saying goodbye to his mother on the churchyard and he is moving to Florida . In the last chapter of the book Ruthie talks with Erika and realized how much they had in common.

Chapters 35-38

In chapter 35 Erika wants to battle Ruthie , but Ruthie told Erika, what she thinks of her(for example she told her that she is a nothing and that she has nobody on her side) and because of this Erika is running crying away from her school. In chapter 36 Erika is still very sad and because she believes in God she asks him for help. With chapter 37 we have an example what other students think about Erika ( in this case its Shanice and she does not feel very sorry for Erika). In chapter 38 Erikas friends are visiting Erika who has not been at home for a couple of days and they told her again to kick Ruthie , but Erika has changed , she does not want to hurt Ruthie anymore.

Chapters 32-33

In chapter 32 Erikas friends and some boys are visiting the prom party but Erika is not at the prom because she is visiting her father in Phoenix. She has ripped up her prom dress when she has heard that A.J. had left her. And Ruthie is also at the prom party but not with A.J. because she has promised Christian, a friend of her to go with him. The friends of Erika want to " talk some shit to her" but Kevin said to them to leave her alone . Then they decided to wait untill Erika is back. In chapter 33 Erika is in Phoenix with her dad and she is visiting Dane (he is taking drugs) and she spends the night with him in his bed .

Chapters 25- 31

In chapter 25 A.J. is again at the home of Ruthie (he is visiting Ruthie late in the evening) , and first they are talking but later they are kissing each other and because of this Ruthie is very confused and very tired at school the day after (chapter 26) and a friend of Ruthie , Andrea is talking with her and Ruthie told her what happened between her and A.J, and A.J. wants to leave Erika. In chapter 27 A.J. knows now what love is and he told Ruthie that he loves her. But in chapter 28 Erika hears that A.J. and Ruthie are a couple now and she is very angry and she wants to kill Ruthie. In chapter 29 Erika is looking for Ruthie and when she found her with A.J. , A.J. told her that he and Ruthie are together now and A.J. told Ruthie, that Erika could be a real dangerous person(chapter 30) . In chapter 31 Erika is still very angry and sad and she and her " friends " destroy the tires of Ruthies car as a warning.
